Our special offer for people with a disability or chronic illness

In principle, all people with a disability or chronic illness who are dependent on personal assistance are entitled to the personal budget. The requirements depend on individual needs.

The personal budget allows you to become the employer of your assistants yourself. They have the final say in their selection.

We will be happy to support you from the application to the competent authority and negotiations with the cost bearer to the guidance, registration and payroll accounting of the personal assistants you employ under an employment contract.

Our accounting office also offers disabled employers the following services:

  • Preparation of employment contracts – drafting and reviewing in accordance with binding and generally applicable legal norms and regulations and negotiated contractual terms between employee and employer
  • Guidance for the deployment of assistants
  • Issuance of employment references
  • Complete reporting and certification system
  • Timely execution of the monthly payroll accounting of the hired personal assistants
  • Correspondence with social security institutions, tax offices and authorities
  • Billing and detailed evaluation of reimbursable costs
  • Communication with the cost bearers on the reimbursement of payroll costs incurred

Who can use this service?

  • People with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses who, as employers, employ their personal assistants in a self-determined and self-responsible manner
  • Authorised family members of people with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses
  • Legal guardians

Cost

The costs for the monthly payroll of personal assistance can be covered by various cost bearers, depending on the individual situation and the type of personal assistance used: nursing care insurance, health insurance, accident insurance, integration assistance, social assistance, etc.
In many cases, the Integration Office or the Federal Employment Agency is responsible for financing, especially if personal assistance is needed to obtain or maintain a job. In the case of parental assistance, the provider of integration assistance can also cover the costs.
