Freedom to know

„Freedom to know“ is the name of the latest human rights education project of Charter 22 through its branch in Bulgaria (Kyustendil) in cooperation with the District Court of Kyustendil. This year, we are focusing on the human rights of young people in contact with social media, the increased risks of violating these rights and the criminal consequences. „I know my rights, I respect your rights!“ Young people will have the opportunity to learn about their human rights so that they can defend them. If they understand what their human rights are and who is responsible for protecting them, they will be able to act proactively and ask protective measures. All that highlights the need for human rights education that enables young people to navigate in the digital space safely.
