Come, bright Easter sun,
Break forth with your radiance,
Fill with exalted air and bliss
Our hearts and lives completely!
Let your light pierce the night,
That holds the spirit captive,
That we may soar anew
From the dark grave of the world!
Drive all darkness away
From the sick soul;
Let it be completely healed,
Lead it into the sanctuary of peace!
